Requested move 31 May 2017[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: not moved. It's been relisted once and still no RS. But I have created a redir from the proposed new name. Andrewa (talk) 08:40, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Qaraqosh Protection CommitteeNineveh Plain Security Forces – Following information provided to me by a Reddit user, I did some digging and I've concluded that the Qaraqosh Protection Committee renamed itself to "Tiger Guards" in 2015 and sometime later renamed to "Nineveh Plain Security Forces" (قوات حراسات سهل نينوى). See my edit here. Assuming this is correct, the article should be moved. Bulbajer (talk) 18:22, 31 May 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. Music1201 talk 20:47, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: @Bulbajer: I can't read Arabic and Google Translate isn't particularly helpful with something like this. The name change would need to be documented in the article with reliable sources. —Guanaco 17:51, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
