Pringle of Scotland Information[edit]

I am a fashion student and I have recently spent some time researching pringle of scotland for a project, one of the first sources I looked to was wikipedia, and despite it providing some basic facts, on further research I found the information to be fairly outdated with no reference to their more recent activity, In particular the appointment of Clare Waight Keller and how this has changed the company. I am not too sure how wikipedia works in terms of the content but i thought it would be useful for it to be updated , for other students in future. Also the wikipedia page on Kim Winser contradicts the Pringle page. Some articles which I found helpful were -

'Pringle's quiet sexiness', Sloane Square Magazine, June, 2007- Mills, L. 'Winser's grand designs for the Pringle empire' the city interview,Aug 25, 2005. pg. 81 - 'A fine Yarn' Luxury Briefing, June 2007- 'Pringle joins the fashion elite'www.news.bbc.co.uk, 21 Feb 2001- 'Company Background' http://www.pringlescotland.com Ward, S. 'Fang family takes control at Pringle as Winser moves on,The Scotsman,Dec 6, 2005, p. 41- Moffat, A. 'Sold Off to Hong Kong',New Statesman, 21 Feb 2000- 'The Lion Prepares to Roar',Drapers Record, 2 Apr 2001- Hall, E. 'Fashion's Old Guard Aim to Generate Youth Appeal, Campaign, 7 Sept 2001- O'Hara, G. 'The Encyclopaedia of Fashion'- Barty - King, H. Uh-huh... whatever you say. Please try to integrate your material with existing material rather than wholesale cutting-and-pasting. Famousdog 13:48, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kaput?[edit]

has pringle finally bitten the dust? the company website appears to be down, and a search of several luxury retailers gives only 'no items found in this category' results.the only positive results are found at odd lot retailers.Toyokuni3 (talk) 16:37, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
