Move for "consistent naming" undone[edit]

The move from this page to a page using US (no periods) as its abbreviation should have been discussed before it was done. Across Wikipedia, U.S. is abbreviated with periods; consistency with UK name is not sufficient reason for the move. (See the U.S. versions of Coupling and The Office for examples.)
