Boiling oil too valuable[edit]

Agree with editor that this needs citation. Considerations: a) "Oil" is a generic term for "anything liquid including animal fats", b) When castles were hard pressed, anything at all was used for ammo. Piano non troppo (talk) 09:32, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pluralization[edit]

Not a Latin scholar, eh? If the ending of a Latin noun is "us", then the nominative plural ending could be "i". That obviously does not apply here, totally aside from the fact that Latin plurals are not necessarily recommended for English words, even if of Latin origin. --Kbh3^rd talk 04:02, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
