Heteronormativity[edit]

This article claims to be about pornography in Hungary, but in fact is only about heterosexual porn in Hungary. Gay porn studios like Bel Ami and others have created a demand for young Eastern European (including Hungarian) men, who are considered very exotic in the U.S., not least for usually being uncircumcised. (And of course anal sex isn't considered "extreme" in gay porn at all!) Pais (talk) 09:57, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That is interesting, if you can provide some reliable sources then I'm sure the article could be expanded. Lampman (talk) 12:19, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the more I think about it now, I don't know how much of it is actually produced in Hungary. Bel Ami is actually based in Slovakia and probably produces its videos there, though of course the guys come from all over Eastern Europe. Still, the statements about anal sex being considered "extreme", and the sentences "The relatively poor economic conditions in the country force many young girls from the provinces to seek their fortune in the capital. This provides a constant supply of female performers with the desired qualities for the business" are heteronormative and thus not NPOV. Pais (talk) 13:33, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please, if you think infomation is left out, add it. There is no censorship at work here, obviously. Hekerui (talk) 13:40, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The sources I was able to find were entirely concerned with heterosexual pornography. Gay porn does not seem to be a significant part of the Hungarian porn industry, and if this is the case then the article has to take a "heteronormative" point of view. If you want to amend the text to saying that anal sex is considered extreme for heterosexual porn, feel free to do so. Lampman (talk) 14:25, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
