The Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy is included in the list of Pontifical Academies on the Vatican website [1] and its name includes the words "Pontifical" and "Academy" so I'm confused by the claim that it's not a pontifical academy. Rosekelleher (talk) 14:56, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Here the saying "What's in a name?" might apply. Unlike the other "Academies" on the list which are founded to promote fields of knowledge, the Ecclesiastical "Academy" is simply that, a school for diplomats.
