E-mail[edit]

(from an email by a person around at that time) The Pixar Image computer business was sold to Vicom, not Viacom. Vicom was, if I recall correctly, the reconstituted computer graphics business of Gould. As I recall, Vicom's plan was to dominate the computer graphic hardware business by buying out the competition ( i.e., Pixar Image computer and others ) and become the sole player in the field.

I think Vicom officially died around 1993. But they did continue to sell and service the PIC while in business, as well as design some of their own hardware.

PAS Section irrelevant to the Image Computer[edit]

If in the prior section PICs stopped being used in 1995, then most of these films and this section is irrelevant to the Image Computer and more appropriate just for the corporation page. It might be OK for PIC relevant films. 21:30, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

perfect images of the human body[edit]

This article uses the phrase "perfect images of the human body". The use of the word "perfect" sounds like marketing-speak. How could the images be perfect? It should be changed to something more appropriate. Tweisbach (talk) 01:32, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
