Which administrative district is Phonsavan in?[edit]

Does anybody know if Xieng Khouang was technically part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail? I thought the trail was limited to southern Laos and the Northern provinces had been bombarded due to the Pathet Lao (and assisting Vietnamese troops)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gavilan1644 (talk • contribs) 08:03, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know which administrative district Phonsavan is in? There are 8 listed in the Xiangkhouang Province article, and this information could probably be included in the article. Shanata (talk) 10:31, 28 October 2009 (UTC) It is in PEK district. Another name for Phonsavan or Phonsavanh is also PEK[reply]

Elevation?

I believe Phonasavan is at about 1,100 metres, not 2,750. Can anybody confirm this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by

Yes, that 2750 is maybe Phu Bia, the highest elevation in the province. The plateau is ca. 1100 meters above sea level

Different Coordinates[edit]
