[Untitled][edit]

Hello Wiki editors, can you please help me finish cleaning up this page (Philip B.)? I have now added hyperlinks so that it is no longer an orphan page. I have also added categories so that it is clearly identified and aligned with other pages in Wikipedia. I have documented every fact with a source that meets guidelines.

I would appreciate any advice you can offer. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by SS-Henderson (talkcontribs) 02:05, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, my page Philip B. is still classified as an orphan. Now that I understand what an orphan page is, I'm concerned that it may not be possible to de-orphan it. Would I have to check with former Philip B. co-workers like Ava Shamban to see if she would add a mention of Philip B. to her page? Paul Begoun has cited Philip B. in her book, Don't Go Shopping for Hair-Care Products Without Me," but I can't create a link from her page, can I? Other possibilities that I've thought of include the Phytotherapy page, which has a "See also list." But he would be the only person on the list, so I'm not sure that would work.

Might it be best to just delete the Orphan tag? I don't think it's likely that the Philip B. page will ever be de-orphaned. But it is a page that people will search for on Wikipedia, I feel sure. He is a big name in his category and is particularly known for his approach to treating hair that focuses on restoring health to the scalp through the application of phytotherapeutic elements.

Thank you for helping me if you can. SS-Henderson (talk) 18:25, 21 December 2015 (UTC)SS-Henderson[reply]

Notability issue[edit]

In his category I think Philip B. is notable. Every industry has their own trade publications and so everyone is not going to appear in the New York Times.--WondoMathias (talk) 17:25, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
