what are the advantages and disadvantages of phenomenology ?

Major Edits Needed[edit]

There needs to be a separation between the use of phenomenology of religion as the comparative investigation of religious phenomena and as the discipline that was the direct reaction of religious evolutionism and focuses on religious experience. Introduction needs Cleaning[edit]

I hope someone with expert knowledge of this can clean up the introduction. As it is, it is vague and could use more examples before jumping into the history of religious phenomenology. Philosopher2king (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:27, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will work on cleaning this up when I get back to campus. I wrote a paper about religious phenomenology that summarized the major thinkers. I think it should help.
