WP:SINGER criterion 3: After the release of his third album he was awarded with Zlatý erb Opusu (Golden Seal of Opus Records) for having sold one million records : this is apparently a cumulative number for all 3 albums published until then but both 1st and 2nd albums sold[1] more copies than specified in Music recording certification#Certification thresholds for countries much bigger than Czechoslovakia

WP:SINGER criterion 9: Zlatý slavík certainly was/is a major nationwide competition, where coming on the top of Karel Gott (who almost always won) was a tremendous achievement which few artists could claim, Peter Nagy being one of them
