this is, for now, intended to be a redirect, to the article of this guy's son.

However, also this man is prominent in history of his country. Perhaps, one day, people will write an article here about him too. the historian Bernard Reilly (in his queen Urraca's reign book) opines that this guy is worth a biography book himself !

Unfinished[edit]

I know the article is long, but several things are unfinished:

Copyediting. I haven't read the whole thing over.
Structure. The sectioning is ad hoc, because it is so long it needs it.
Images. I intend to add (i) a lead picture, a map of Galicia with points/regions of interest and (ii) a family tree for the "Family" section. The image in the external link would be wonderful, if somebody could take a similar photograph and release it.
Sources. There are a few more not listed that I am meaning to check.

"Most powerful"?[edit]
