So little information about his playing career[edit]

One of my all-time favorite Celtics. I didn’t even know he had a career subsequently as a coach. So little information about his playing career. How did the Celtics acquire him? Wasn’t he ultimately traded for Sidney Wicks because they couldn’t agree on a new contract?
