5x expanded by DrMedRenArtHistory (talk). Self-nominated at 21:55, 21 October 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Pasquier Grenier; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.[reply]

  • Hook is sourced, with source accepted on good faith. Article is recently expanded and long enough, with no evident plagiarism or copyvio issues or any other problems that would keep it from the front page. No QPQ: I'm not sure how to check if the nominator needs one (queried on talk page); if they have fewer than five DYK credits, they don't. QPQ not needed, as this will be a first DYK.
Image needs a US PD tag, but beyond that, does not show well at small scale at all. Would suggest an alternative (with fewer small-scale patterns) or simply removing. Also suggest cutting "and sold wine too": it dangles a bit at the end and takes away from what is otherwise an excellently punchy hook. UndercoverClassicist T·C 09:23, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Approved as just edited, without the image. Congratulations and good work on the article. UndercoverClassicist T·C 18:26, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
