Is Park Tae Hwan based in Melbourne or what?[edit]

Does that sentence in the first paragraph mean park tae hwan in based in Melbourne or that he's just there for FINA Championships?

  • I forgot where I read it, but he is now really based in Melbourne. Aeron Valderrama 08:00, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, that's not true. He's only in Melbourne for the FINA Championships. He's still based in Korea. --DandanxD 09:44, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I agree with that. Channel 9 said he only came to Melbourne one week before the Championships, so I think it is likely that he is only here for the FINA Championships.

Agree, indeed. According to the recent in-depth report by KBS(Source in Korean: KBS Special, August 3, 2008), Park went to Australia(Sydney, frankly) 'again' to his training, where he marked his victory(2006 FINA Championship - 400m Freestyle match) against Grant Hackett. However, in my opinion, that doesn't mean where his base really is. (After training in Australia, he participated several contests around the globe, and later - May 2008 - he prepared his 2008 Beijing bid in Guam. I'll fill this '500-days rally' soon) Peterhansen2032 (talk) 04:40, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

His achievements from Beijing Olympics?[edit]

He's achieved 1 gold and 1 silver from Beijing Olympic Games and it definitely needs some mentioning or even a separate sector. Can anyone elaborate on this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.105.150.2 (talk) 17:18, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
