The Padampur VDC was the only remaining enclave of Royal Chitwan National Park and recently relocated to nearby Juitpani VDC of Chitwan District, which is 20 Km. north from Chitwan National Park.The total population of new Padampur is 11,037 with 5,543 males (50.2%) and 5,494 females (49.8%). The majority of households are from the Tharu caste/ethnicity, which constitutes 44 % (889 hh.). The second largest caste/ethnic group is Brahmin 22% (444 hh.). The average family size of households is 5.15 individuals (total population / no. of households) (District Development Committee, 2002).

Working age of majority of sample (16 to 59 age group) were (59%). Padampur is the one of the beautiful place of Nepal the village is located in Chitwan . Padampur is well planned village . It is surrounded by jungles . The main attraction of Padanpur is well planned road . It was placed by Nepal government from (purano basti) rapati river side . This village is nearby to big cities of Chitwan. (Bharatpur and tandi ) the palampur village is also known as banana farming village in nearby cities 90% of vegetables are imported to tandi and bharatpur this device is is occupied by most of the tharu communities the main attraction of this village is is nature friendly and approachable facilities in nearby cities. The main place is known as high school chok , gaduwa chok and campus gate chok . In summary perambur is best residential place for people who love nature , quality education and for who want many facilities near them .
