series of apparitions or person[edit]

I don't think "Our Lady of Pellevoisin is a series of Marian apparitions...." "Our Lady of Pellevoisin" is a title given to Mary, the mother of Jesus, by those who think she appeared in Pellevoisin at a certain time. I think writing it this way would also avoid the question of whether this is true, or whether such a person actually exists. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 14:25, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, and I have updated the opening text to accommodate this. Revd Dr Gareth Leyshon - User Gleyshon (talk) 11:24, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

liturgical commemoration[edit]

the article refers to an approved votive Mass on Sept. 9. This page Devotion to Our lady lists OL of Pellevoisin on Feb 13. Can this be explained or resolved? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 15:02, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Several other pages also suggest Feb 13, but give no citation. There is also a claim of 19 Feb on Marian Feasts. Official "feast days" can be designated by individual dioceses so it is quite possible for a local feast to be declared on a different, but relevant, date by a local bishop. But the only date for which there is a verifiable citation is the September date, until evidence can be produced for a calendar or decree from a particular diocese or bishops' conference.
