American History Needs Work[edit]

The American subsection is missing 10 years of history. This particularly notable since the 1997 history is focused on Euro-Americans -- the early American bhikkhuni ordinations, beginning in 1987, were much more connected to Asian and Asian-American communities. If anyone is willing to work on the section, a valuable resource would be Ayya Tathaaloka's history of early American ordinations, "Honoring Those Worthy of Honor."
