What is an Orangery?[edit]

Came looking to find out what an Orangery actually is, and was surprised to see that the intro didn't tell me; so I had to look it up, thus my edit: see WP:LEAD --Easter Monkey 09:42, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gunnersbury Park[edit]

There is an orangery in Gunnersbury per the hounslow council guide PDF, as well as the wikipedia entry for Gunnersbury Park itself. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.74.36.4 (talk) 19:55, 31 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Wikipedia?[edit]

Just from glancing over, I would say that this article reads rather like some sort of early 20th century history textbook. Is it, and has its copyright expired?LaFoiblesse (User talk:LaFoiblesse) 2008-12-27 19:38 (GMT)

In the Lead[edit]

"a place where citrus trees[1] were often wintered in tubs under cover, surviving through harsh frosts though not expected to flower and fruit." - really? My impression is that they were very much expected to flower and fruit the following year. Is this just saying they wouldn't do so at Christmas? I'll comment out the last bit for now.
