Agence française de sécurité sanitaire des produits de santé

Is it ok for Agence française de sécurité sanitaire des produits de santé to lead to an external link? sillybillypiggy 17:02, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Incorrect information/Vandalism?

There seems to be a lot of incorrect info in the article, particularly in the sidebox where it claims the building has 80 floors, is 307m tall, and also mentions Tower 42 being 300m tall. Looking back over the revision history there appears to be a lot of changes made by unregistered users. Can we protect the page from vandalism? ~J349 (talk) 14:41, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

Ownership

Under the ownership section, the article states that British Land has owned One Canada Square since 2010. This is incorrect.

Canary Wharf Group plc is still the current owner. See page 9 of the Canary Wharf Group annual report at the following link for reference:

Was that the only fiction you spotted in the article? There are a lot of problems with this article, particularly that it contains lots of fiction (this is Wikipedia after all). Why haven't you made the adjustment in the article if you know false information exist within? You do work for the company that owns the tower after all. 146.90.174.211 (talk) 03:16, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

"often referred to simply as Canary Wharf"

There are many users who agree and disagree with the opening paragraph quote "often referred to simply as Canary Wharf".

For example: on 00:41, 4 June 2017‎ user ThebeOkonma said I've deleted "often referred to as Canary Wharf" because 1) I've never heard that, and I'm an ex-Londoner; 2) Everybody knows Canary Wharf is the area; 3) You didn't provide a citation. Even if you had, it's erroneous anyway. "Canary Wharf" is the area!!!

Could we please discuss this as encyclopedic content?

I think it will be best to temporarily leave out "often referred to simply as Canary Wharf" until we have finished discussing this; rather than users continuously deleting and replaced it repeatly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.125.44.246 (talk) 20:30, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

People do call it Canary Wharf. It doesn't matter if it's not correct, people call it that. I'll find a citation eventually. Thanks, WikiImprovment78 (talk) 17:40, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
WikiImprovment78, I have also heard a few people calling 'One Canada Square' as 'Canary Wharf', though uncommon in my humble opinion, so I disagree with often in the quote "often referred to simply as Canary Wharf". However, this webpage http://www.tallestskyscrapers.info/london-one-canada-square.php agrees with you stating "Most people refer to One Canada Square as Canary Wharf" - though I personally think this statement is more of an opinion rather than a result from research.

The most common informal name I ever heard was 'The Canary Wharf Tower', and previously written in this article mentioned 'Canada Tower', 'Radden Tower', 'One Canada House', 'DS7' (Docklands Square 7 is the building's designation), but these were all removed as they were deemed unworthy encyclopedic content.

Personally, I would prefer a quote like "occasionally referred to simply as Canary Wharf", and possibly even place it in the 'Building name' section.

You could end the discussion and modify the article as you can now give a citation, hopefully nobody will challenge how reliable the quote is. 91.125.44.246 (talk) 02:32, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

I will add that with that citation in that case. I will change it "sometimes called Canary Wharf Tower or simply Canary Wharf. Thanks, WikiImprovment78 (talk) 13:23, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

I just want to say thanks to whoever has removed the erroneous reference to calling the tower "Canary Wharf" from the first paragraph of this article. This building is, of course, NOT called Canary Wharf, and I have NEVER heard anybody erroneously call it that, and I used to live in London. I see later in the article someone has put that some people "incorrectly" refer to the building as Canary Wharf, which I think is okay, because it is indeed incorrect. I notice above there's a link to this website - http://www.tallestskyscrapers.info/london-one-canada-square.php - which claims that people refer to the building as Canary Wharf. But again, I've never heard this usage in my life, and I do not think that this random website can be considered authoritative, and regardless, referring to One Canada Square by the name of the area is simply INCORRECT. That would be like referring to the London Eye as South Bank, or The Shard as London Bridge. So thank you for getting rid of this erroneous name from the beginning of the article.
