Urban myth[edit]

The citation regarding the horse's location is in error. The University of Nebraska at Omaha does not have a culinary arts major, nor is there a building with that name, hence giving any bad cooking to Omaha is not possible. This appears to be an urban myth that is being perpetuated through horse circles, but is simply not true. The only buildings affiliated with UNO on the former Ak-Sar-Ben property include the Peter Kiewit Institute, home of the College of Information Science and Technology (UNO) and the College of Engineering (UNL) Mammel Hall (UNO College of Business Administration) and Scott Hall, Scott Village and Scott Court, all student residential housing. No one seems to know where, or if, the horse was ever buried there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Midwest mimi (talkcontribs) 13:07, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The whole issue of Omaha's retirement needs looking at, lots of nice-sounding, but compeletly unreferenced material. The offending sections were the work of User:68.13.65.252 who m.o. was to add lots of colourful, unencyclopedic material to articles across a wide range of topics, often with Nebraska connections. Most of his/her contributions were quickly reverted. I'm expanding the article at the moment, so I'll look into it.  Tigerboy1966  09:22, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

Badly needs more details on American racing career.  Tigerboy1966  07:04, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
