Refimprove tag[edit]

Since there seem to be a few regular editors of this page, I wanted to note that I tagged the article as needed improved references. While there are inline citations in the article, in many instances the are nearly valueless; for example, the adaptation of Stella Dallas into a play is cited with only the text "Stella Dallas Play in New Haven, CT." This isn't really a citation of anything, merely a reiteration that something is claimed to have happened. It offers no method of verification. Please see here for information on appropriately citing sources. Thanks! -Sketchmoose (talk) 21:29, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

All novels complete at Wikisource (as of 2021)[edit]

Link to Author page at Wikisource

Hi, I wanted to inform any watchers of this page, or members of related WikiProjects, that I have completed the entire library of Olive Higgins Prouty's novels that are in the public domain as of 2021. This includes five novels; Bobbie, General Manager (1913), The Fifth Wheel (1916), The Star in the Window (1918), Good Sports (1919), and Stella Dallas (1923).

As these novels are all in the public domain in the United States due to copyright expiration, these novels can all be used for any purpose on the WMF projects. Any images as well as text content from them can be reused or remixed in any way shape or form, including quoting entire sections verbatim or using images in articles. Hopefully Wikisource's offering of in-depth evidence of the content of Prouty's original novels will help Wikipedia somewhat. PseudoSkull (talk) 23:36, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
