Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the organisation, Objectif Exhibitions, was founded in 1999 and today, in 2014 is an art center with an international reputation. It has supported hundreds of artists and is therefore important enough to warrant its inclusion in an encyclopaedia. It serves a local and international public, and communicates in English and Dutch (Flemish) and therefore belongs on an English page in wikipedia. My hope was that other users would improve the page I created, so I hope it will not be deleted before its history has a chance to be fully flushed out.

This page explains the usual inclusion criterion. While this page establishes enough significance, I don't believe it would survive a deletion discussion, unless additional sources about the gallery (rather than about art displayed there) are found. WilyD 10:04, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
