Untitled[edit]

This article is mislabeled. It claims to be an article about North Andrew, but the history reported is that of the nearby town of Rosendale. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.156.44.27 (talk) 23:03, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Needs major fixes or else merged[edit]

The article's history section is nothing but a cut and paste of the same from the Rosendale, Mo. Wiki. Even if it means an overall smaller article, it should focus on North Andrew High School, not the nearby town. This really needs fixed soon. Sector001 (talk) 14:29, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

@Necrothesp: Can you explain what policy-based reason you have for believing this article should not be deleted? BilledMammal (talk) 00:09, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Prodding is for uncontroversial deletion only, as clearly explained in the first sentence of WP:PROD. No deletion of an American high school is ever going to be uncontroversial. Prodding is not a clever way to get around AfD. -- Necrothesp (talk) 08:33, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So you have no policy based objection to deletion? If you have no reason to expect the article will be kept then it is disruptive to remove the tag. BilledMammal (talk) 08:38, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I fear you misunderstand prodding. Please make an effort to understand the process before using it. WP:PROD lays it out very clearly. Oh, and don't accuse other editors of being disruptive. Anyone may remove a prod for any reason or none. Thank you. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:12, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Then please explain; what reason do you have to believe it will be kept? BilledMammal (talk) 11:38, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Because American high schools almost invariably are kept at AfD. As I said, clearly not uncontroversial and therefore should not be prodded but taken to AfD instead. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:33, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree with that assessment; on what policy grounds do you make it? If there are no policy grounds to keep then the nomination is not controversial, and removing it is disruptive; doing so is part of the reason that Lugnuts was banned. BilledMammal (talk) 00:29, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
