Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... It is simply a page created for an American graphic novel series, much like Bone or Maus, and as such has every right to be include in this encyclopedia. There has already been one volume released in the series, which can be bought online off Amazon and the Nordguard website, and there is in fact a second volume currently being created. In addition to that, Nordguard was also mentioned in a wikipedia article about Pemmican, and there are dozens of manga articles on wikipedia, much like the one I just created, such as Dolls (Kawahara), Parasyte, and Gokukoku No Brynhildr. There is nothing promotional about this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Green Utopia (talkcontribs) 18:21, 7 February 2014‎

Very well, but now you need to provide published reliable sources that are independent, and indications of real-world effects or reactions, or else this will soon be deleted. DES (talk) 00:56, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I hear you loud and clear, I will make sure to add all of those things ASAP. I'm just a beginner here, so please cut me a break. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Green Utopia (talkcontribs) 03:01, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Green Utopia you are being cut a break. In any case, i am just one of many editors. Any editor may edit a page at any tiem or may bring it up for a deletion discussion if the editor thinks it does not belong here. Please read our notability guideline, and our policy on neutrality. If an article serves to advocate for or tell a favorable story about a person, thing, group, organization, company, or concept, we consider it promotional, even if there is no commercial advertising involved. All articles must be neutral, telling the verifiable facts about the subject, good and bad. Facts should be cited to reliable sources, especially controversial or unusual statements. Statements of opinion and direct quotes must be cited with an inline reference. See referencing for beginners for more details. DES (talk) 14:47, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
