There was no Stephen of Anjou: someone simply mangled the CE′s mention of John. The Catholic Encyclopediadoes say it occurred in 1459 and was against Alfonso of Aragon, but he had died the year before and the actual battle seems to have took place the following year. Plenty of sources apart from the CE have copied Wikipedia's mistakes here, but don't "correct" the description of the battle pending solidly better sources. — LlywelynII 06:48, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
