I think it's okay that they mentioned this, but in response to the first two comments: Miley is currently dating Liam something-or-other, a Hollywood bad-boy (you know the type), Selena is single and cautious, and Nick is (reputedly) single. No one really knows for sure what's going on relationship-wise for the Jonas Brothers because they're so careful about what they say. Pubic Flashing?

A picture of Nick taken an estimated 2 years ago shows Nick raising his hands and you can see some of his pubic hair. Should we add this to the article? I think so because since he wears a purity ring it's against it to show pubic hair. 74.140.155.82 (talk) 02:39, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Unless a reliable source has discussed it we should not be including it. This looks like syntheses of material. First, the picture is not a reliable source that it is pubic hair. Second, the purity ring only means what he believes it means. If he has not publically stated what it means to him, then we can not interpret his intentions. It was probably just an accident. He's a growing guy, they get pubic hair. Maybe his pants sagged a little and he raised his arms at the wrong moment. Whatever happened, I DON'T think he did it on purpose, that's for sure. And since it probably was an accident, I don't think his purity ring has anything to do with it. Child Ministers

How is this possible. Children do not possess the wisdom compared to someone in their 40s. Is this claim accurate? I don't really care since I'm atheist anyways. A child cannot have wisdom. Wisdom is a combination of common sense and experience. However sensible a child may be, they lack the experience to be truly wise. That doens't mean that they cannot be a minister. But there ministry has to be very restricted.JohnC (talk) 00:20, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Information about the two dating is being removed because People Magazine is not a reliable source. I do not care, just trying to stop this from erupting into an edit war. There are other sources that report the same information such as: MSNBC and Fox News. I do not believe most people would say that they are not reliable. The down side of this all is that all this information seems to be derived from one source, an interview Cyrus did with Seventeen magazine. People Magazine is generally considered a reliable source as they do have a reputation for fact checking unlike a lot of other "gossip" magazines but you have to be careful on what it is that they say. For example they might be accurately report a wide spread rumor but they will label it as such - we can't use those. This info is in the Miley Cyrus article and similarly sourced. Whether or not it belongs in this article is an editorial consensus decision but sources to support it here do exist. --NrDg 16:19, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Please identify the false info that was being added. If the info was referenced, verifiable and consensus of the editors is to have it in the article it belongs. If info is well referenced but believed false, please provide references that refute. Info is well referenced and is from one of the principals and the brother of the other. I would expect that if untrue Jonas would have gone out of his way to deny what was stated. As a suggestion might change the article to make more explicit that Miley Cyrus is the sole source and leave implied that Jonas has said nothing to either confirm or deny. I think it is a good change. I have have never seen any requirement that information about a person has to be confirmed by that person before it is added to their article. That seems to be a very high standard for inclusion. The information is well sourced, pertinent to the subject and is not contentious. Selena Gomez

In the newest article of Seventeen, Selena did say she dated Nick Jonas and implied that he broke up with her. Although she didn't mention him by name, she said one of the 3 guys she has dated (at 13, 14, and 16) broke her heart and that everyone on set hated him. Considering that she said the people on set, it's most likely she was talking about Wizards and so it's most likely it was Nick Jonas.

Is this blog WP:Reliable?

I'm concerned that references 42-49 (as of this writing) are from "OceanUp.com", a blog that readily admits it "contains published rumors, speculation, factual information & user submitted content. Information on this site may or may not be true" (emphasis mine). I see this as very problematic from a reliable sources standpoint. To be fair, I'll give someone the chance to argue its merit before I pull them — these statements would be subject to tags, and might be edited even further due to standards for biographies of living persons. It's from 2012... You could have a look through these: link, which are the images available at Commons, and see if there is one there which you would like to recommend. If your choice would need cropping to suit the infobox, that can be done (as a derivative copy) - provided consensus agrees that it would improve the article.

If you can't find anything suitable there, then you would need to suggest another image with a compatible free licence which can be uploaded. Since we have a free image, any replacement would need to be free, and not fair use - see the Image copyright and licensing policy [link]. "Break up"

As the embedded note in the "Health and relationships" section states plainly, it's pretty well-established at WikiProject:Biography that we don't trust unnamed, anonymous sources, which People etc. are citing on the break-up story.
