n comments posted to Twitter, animator Suzuki Shunji has revealed that the Nichijou anime adaptation produced by Kyoto Animation is considered a sales failure for the once lauded animation studio and is far from its break even milestone. The comments came after attending a closed door industry meeting regarding Kadokawa’s lineup for Spring and Summer.
Shunji goes on to comment that the failure of Nichijou for Kyoto Animation is a reflection of the change in attitude towards the studio by its once fervent fanbase and suggests that fans want to see more serious projects from the studio instead of lighthearted fare, ending with the statement that Kyoto Animation’s previous reputation for quality is lost .

English article name - My Ordinary Life[edit]

Oops, I conveniently forgot something. Yes My Ordinary Life is its English title. However, its English release was cancelled, thus it really isn't appropriate to keep it at the English title. For another example, see Kodomo no Jikan, AKA Nymphet (manga) or a discussion at WT:ANIME on this very topic. I've reverted the move now. In it's coverage of the manga, Anime News Network refers to the series as "Nichijou" or "Nichijō".[2][3][4][5]. In accordance with WP:COMMONNAME we use the name that is most commonly used by reliable sources. —Farix (t | c) 15:40, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, would everyone use translated name or their "official" English name because Nichijou literal translation is "Usual day", "Ordinary day", "Everyday" or "Everyday Life". These two sentences have no included citations to confirm their statements:

"Originally, the manga was meant to be a short, stand-alone series which was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Shōnen Ace magazine between the May and October 2006 issues. Starting with the December 2006 issue, the manga began regular serialization in Shōnen Ace, and was also serialized in Kadokawa's Comptiq magazine between the March 2007 and July 2008 issues."
