Notability considerations[edit]

King's book is held by 43 OCLC member libraries.
She has made over 20 public speeches in the United States and Canada since 2009, some of them in prestigious universities including Stanford.
Her presentations and publications target queer and trans people of color and thus may have a smaller or different reach than what may typically be used to assess notability. For example Colorlines has over 3,000 sites linking in to it according to Alexa.
Her book and podcast have been written about in national publications like Bitch Magazine, The Advocate, Colorlines
