Remove the comma after "on the block".
"at a cost of" → "for" (less wordy)
"At the end of the end of" → "At the end of"
"During 1880" → "In 1880"
Remove the hyphen between "new-building".
Remove the hyphen between "animal-heads".
Remove the comma after "stairways were placed".
Add a hyphen between "stained glass".
"separately of each" - shouldn't "of" be "from"?
Remove the comma after "other respects".
"Salad Oil scandal" → "salad oil scandal" (see article)
