Neal and Drew Bledsoe's genealogy[edit]

OK so please don't revert. This took all day and I finally cracked it. So whomever put that Neal and Drew Bledsoe were second cousins (unless not through their Bledsoe genealogy) was wrong. They are 4th cousins once removed (Drew being Neal's father's third cousin). So

Drew -> Mac Bledsoe (his father) -> Stewart Bledsoe -> Admiral Albert Bledsoe Jr -> Albert Bledsoe Sr -> Maj Willis & Susan Bledsoe (nee Harrison)

Neal -> James Bledsoe (his father) -> Charles Bledsoe -> Howard Bledsoe -> William Bledsoe -> Elijah Bledsoe -> Maj Willis & Susan Bledsoe (nee Harrison)

So breaking this down: Albert Sr and Elijah are brothers. Albert Jr and William are first cousins. Stewart (Drew's grandfather) and Howard are second cousins. Mac (Drew's father) and Charles (Neal's grandfather) are third cousins. Drew and James (Neal's father) are fourth cousins, making Neal Drew's fourth cousin once removed.
