Orphaned references in National Register of Historic Places listings in Hidalgo County, Texas[edit]
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of National Register of Historic Places listings in Hidalgo County, Texas's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 16:04, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Old Hidalgo School[edit]
I have removed c:File:Old Hidalgo School, Hidalgo, Texas.JPG. This is not the NRHP-listed school building but is the building immediately to the east, also on Flora Ave between 3rd and 4th Streets. Both belong to the Hidalgo ISD and are Recorded Texas Historic Landmarks. Confusingly, the non-NRHP building is listed as Old Hidalgo School, and the NRHP-listed building is Old Hidalgo School Building and Teacherage. kennethaw88 • talk 04:45, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
- The NRHP nomination form for the "Old Hidalgo School" clearly describes and pictures the other building (i.e., not Old Hidalgo School, Hidalgo, Texas.JPG). kennethaw88 • talk 19:23, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
- Yep, that's my picture and my fault. I didn't have the nom form when I went to get the photos, so it was easy to get confused. I'm working on getting over there to get a pic of the correct site soon. As a possible adjustment, I went ahead and moved the file from Old Hidalgo School, Hidalgo, TX.JPG to Hidalgo ISD Admin BUilding, Hidalgo, TX.JPG. If this gets more confusing, I'll switch it back. 25or6to4 (talk) 21:50, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
