development and /drafts[edit]

I'm gonna try to develop this list-article somewhat, including working on the component NRHP places that it indexes.

In a while i will place rough drafts for articles on NRHP places in this county, ready to be cut-and-pasted and then developed further, at /drafts.

To check recent changes of NRHP articles in this county, click on: Recent changes, which is based up the corresponding /draftnames list of article names.

No, i am not nearby. I have developed a lot of NRHP list-articles scattered around the country; National Register of Historic Places listings in Henrico County, Virginia is the one in Virginia that i contributed most to, probably (though i worked in List of National Historic Landmarks in Virginia, too). I'm happy to devote some time to developing some of the NRHP material here, e.g. as now doing at Advance Mills article. It is a lot more engaging to work on articles for places where there are some pictures available, I find, by the way. If you are nearby, it would be great if you could take snapshots of some of the sites listed.... :) --doncram 20:58, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I will do my best next time I'm running around town and have some extra time on my hands, I live north of Albemarle so most of my trips take me to DC rather than Charlottesville but I'll see what I can do over time. :) WikiManOne 07:53, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Enniscorthy[edit]

I noticed Enniscorthy in the delisted area, but am not sure it belongs there. It may have been delisted and relisted connected to the town of Keene rather than Esmont (neither of which I've visited). The handwritten annotation on the DHR document from 2002 mentions problem alterations around 1997, and another googled source said it was delisted in March 2001. I don't have the time to do the research given my family responsibilities here in Illinois, but I did link 3 articles I found to the mention of Enniscorthy on the wikipedia page of Edward Coles, who was raised there but in a structure that burned down in 1839. I'm also having problems connecting the HABS entries for his brothers' mansions/plantations and national register entries (one of which currently seems for sale for $3 million plus!), and am hoping that someone has hiking boots or libraries nearer Albemarle, Nelson or Henrico counties.Jweaver28 (talk) 21:41, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
