Geodetic coordinates[edit]

The coordinates given in the article for the Observatory do not relate to any point on the observatory grounds but to a point on a small street about 155 meters east of the main observatory building. According to Google Earth the WGS84 coordinates of the observatory building are 37°58'24.2"N, 23°43'5.6"E. I suspect this may have to do with the coordinates being given in a Greek Geodetic Coordinate system, however Wikipedia uses WGS84 for all coordinates.

As a temporary fix I have replaced the erroneous coordinates with those above until someone can come up with documented WGS84 coordinates. --SteveMcCluskey (talk) 22:46, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
