Not a clock tower[edit]

I propose that this article be changed as I do not consider this to be a clock tower. Even the Wikipedia clock tower page states "A clock tower is a tower built with one or more (often four) clock faces." This was built with zero clock faces and so it is just a tower with a clock on it. If you stuck a clock on the Petronas Towers or Tapai 101 would that make it a clock tower.

Please discuss or I may make the change. Cls14 (talk) 23:14, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is it me or does it look awfully familiar? --Aizuku (talk) 15:54, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not in Shibuya[edit]

I'am sorry but I am pretty convinced that this building is located south of Shinjuku Station, therefore in Shinjuku district, and not at all in Shibuya —Preceding unsigned comment added by 221.186.244.67 (talk) 07:10, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Try checking a map. It is indeed located south of Shinjuku station, but is in Shibuya-ku, not Shinjuku-ku. --DAJF (talk) 07:29, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's still misleading. Shinjuku Station sits at the very tip of Shinjuku Ward with (I believe) parts reaching into Shibuya Ward. Similarly, Shinjuku-gyoen is in both Shinjuku and Shibuya Wards. This building is right next to Yoyogi Station... which is essentially an extension of Shinjuku Station... and 2 km away from the area most people consider Shibuya. If you live a bit farther out people use ward, city or train line names unless their station is major, but identification in practice seems to be in terms of districts and stations near central Tokyo. For example, I hear people say they are from Toshima, Nerima, Edogawa... but people I've met in the center say Nihombashi, Tsukishima, Iidabashi, Aoyama as opposed to Minato, Chiyoda, etc. Shinjuku and Shibuya districts are famous... few people really know the exact borders of most of the wards. Regardless, this is easy enough to fix by simply explaining that it's in Shibuya Ward, AND in proximity to Shinjuku Station. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.16.171.124 (talk) 05:32, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
