Merge[edit]

No arguments in favour of merging the articles have been made, and after a considerable period of time it seems this discussion can be closed as no consensus to merge. Benea (talk) 19:26, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose merging MV Liberty Star and MV Freedom Star into this article. Ships like these are considered notable in their own right, and have their own articles instead of being in one 'class' article. Benea (talk) 19:32, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Individual ships should have their own articles. - The Bushranger (talk) 21:31, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Benea --Rlandmann (talk) 22:14, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, and for that matter, this article has no real reason for existing, other than to be some kind of disambiguation page which directs to those two articles. It could also, potentially, point to the Navy ships that were used to recover the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsules. Huntster (t @ c) 23:58, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment: I concur with that assessment, that would be useful, too. - The Bushranger (talk) 01:45, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
