Recent edits of concern[edit]

This article was recently expanded by a new user who's account then became inactive. Having worked on cleaning up the article, I became concerned at the lack of citations to support eveything added. The comment below was left on their talk page, but I reproduce it here in the hope someone will either delete unsupported content, or add references to improve it. I have concerns that much of the newly added content may just be personal opinion.

You'll see that I have tried to tidy up the article so that it takes on a more 'Wikipedia-like' structure. I hope you'll see how much better it looks and reads. You'll also see that I've put in lots of 'citation needed' tags in different places. This is really important, as nothing should be included on Wikipedia without being supported by reliable sources. Could you insert some references to support these statements, please? This is really important as I have been unable to find much online that suggests he existed, apart from the 1957 election results! (Please see WP:RELIABLE for this.) Statements that aren't supported by good sources are liable to be deleted, I'm afraid. . . Regards, Nick Moyes (talk) 20:30, 14 May 2017 (UTC)
