Is "Museum Mile" really a thing?[edit]

I've lived in London 30-odd years, never heard of "Museum Mile". All the links to sources in this article are dead, if you Google "Museum Mile" it appears that it is basically a promotional tool used by a collective of several central London museums. The "Mile" appears to just be a large chunk of central London which happens to contain several museums (hardly surprising, as London is chock full of museums). I agree with the above almost verbatim. Wouldn't a genuine Museum Mile be all along the same road, or at least in a recognisable straight line of some description? The comparison between this and Albertopolis, which was literally designed to be an all-in-one complex of museums, colleges and cultural venues, is laughable.--ThunderingTyphoons! BTW, Talk:Museum Mile, London redirects to this talk page, which is a disambig.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 09:17, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I just fixed that. This page was redirected to there back in 2010. The current article was started in August 2016. – wbm1058 (talk) 03:26, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
