Advertisment?[edit]

The first paragraph looks like an add for some accomodation. I started correcting it, then gave up because it would need complete neutral rewriting. I'll be traveling there in December 2010, and may be able to do that in January, 2011. However, if anyone is interested, go ahead! Island granted for "Kerosene Expense"?[edit]

Article claims that Island was granted to CMS for "Kerosene Expense" and there was a church in Arinallur from 68 AD. These are probable incorrect information. If the author has sourced it from orignial research giving him an oppertunity to add relevant sources. I could not find any by googling. If the dispute remains unchanllenged I will remove this section Saral Simon Stalin 13:39, 12 December 2013 (UTC)

Bad references[edit]

"The emerald isle". The Hindu. Retrieved 14 December 2015. - This reference inaccurately states that munroe island are land given to John Munroe by the Rani of Travancore to build a Seminary along with church. This is wrong and can be verified in wiki page of John Munroe[1] whom after the island is named as an honour for his efforts of preventing the islands from the floods by a series of canals in a truly dutch fashion. 61.1.239.100 (talk) 09:50, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
