Disambiguation[edit]

There are at least three other mountains by this name in the world. Others are in Nunavut, Montana and New South Wales, Australia. See the Wikidata disambiguation page.

@Pppery: You should have looked at the wikidata link before moving the page back to discover that there are multiple mountains by this name. Secondly, you didn't verify the wikidata link after the page move. This page is currently pointing to the Mount Rae disambiguation page on wikidata and not to the peak in Alberta. I was well aware there are multiple mountains with this name, but the current title is correct unless any of them have valid blue links. The disambiguation page had only one blue link, and we don't allow for disambiguation page entries containing only redlinks, and by the time I moved it the page had already been converted back to a redirect here for that reason. And I've fixed the wikidata, but it's odd that the software didn't handle it automatically. Cc AllTheUsernamesAreInUse who originally requested the move. * Pppery * it has begun... 22:02, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • How is the software going to handle it correctly when it has multiple choices to choose from? A notification before page move would have been helpful. RedWolf (talk) 22:17, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
