Move[edit]

Before getting into an edit war, why was the article moved/changed to something it is not exclusively about? This is about the project in general, which includes the dam, the then separate power generating station, and also the drinking water part. This should be quite obvious by the title and the WP:LEAD. Since there was no response, I have moved it back. Further, "Power Station" may be common for the Energy Project folks, but it was used in about one article I used to write the article, thus not the common usage and per WP:NC not the title to use. If you want to have an article just on the power generating station, the correct title would be power plant, as that is the most commonly used regarding this project's generating station. But, again, that would be a different article that would be split out from this one. Aboutmovies (talk) 18:32, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New info[edit]

According to http://allafrica.com/stories/201612160885.html power generation has been restored. "The first of four turbines dedicated by the President will produce 22 megawatts of electricity that the LEC will distribute to homes and businesses. It is anticipated that by next year, the hydro will be fully functional to produce up to 88 megawatts of power." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.136.42.180 (talk) 17:09, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
