Capitalization[edit]

Shouldn't the "investment corporation" part of the title/subject be lowercase? -download ׀ email 21:09, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Though I don't mind you using my original content in the Risks section, it would be appreciated if you acknowledged its origin through a link to my website here - http://canadianfinancialdiy.blogspot.co.uk/2008/05/ins-and-outs-of-mortgage-investment.html Jean Lespérance — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.22.11.211 (talk) 11:21, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

INCOME TAX ACT =[edit]

Someone who understands the Income Tax Act should compare the text to the actual law. For example if the law does indeed say that half the money must be invested in residential investments I don't see where it is, and at least one MIC (Timbercreek Senior) would be offside because the bulk of its mortgage investments are non-residential. 70.24.59.28 (talk) 03:39, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

PUBLICLY TRADED[edit]

The references to MICs that do not trade is seriously out of date. Someone familiar with the sector should update this to include MCan, Timbercreek, Timbercreek Senior, and Atrium, all of which trade on the TSX and are relatively liquid. (There may be other TSX listed MICs as well.
