Does anyone know if Findlay's line about demagogues was a deliberate allusion to the phrase used by late-Weimar era supporters of Hindenburg, "Better a zero than a Nero"? (Of course they got Nero in the end anyway...) --67.69.5.181 19:05, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
