Khanate?[edit]
So far I haven't been able to find anything that refers this entity as the 'Maragheh Khanate'. From the Kur to the Aras: A Military History of Russia's Move into the South Caucasus and the First Russo-Iranian War calls the Moqaddam members 'beglarbeg' (governor-general), not 'khan'. The Social Hierarchy in Provincial Iran: The Case of Qajar Maragheh calls the Moqaddam members for 'provincial governors'. --HistoryofIran (talk) 12:27, 17 May 2022 (UTC)
