Public domain status of the Mohonk Agreement: this agreement was developed as a consensus among dozens of participating organizations, and it was expressly written to be disseminated as freely and widely as possible. It has been included in some websites, including the one listed as a possible copyright violation (Rainforest Alliance, www.ra.org), at the request of some of the participants (including the author of this article, who was also one of the drafters of the agreement). Unfortunately, "permits to be posted on the page" does not mean "permits licensing under the GFDL". In particular, the GFDL permits the text to be modified. Please re-send the message, includling the words "permits licensing under the GFDL". --Alvestrand 21:20, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
