"From 1979 onwards the school began to focus on becoming a six year school and to this day it is held in high regard by parents and the community at large for its extremely high standard of higher education it offers."

"The school is highly regarded throughout Scotland as being one of the top academic schools as well as having a very high sporting record."

With no sources or references to back up these claims, the neutrality of the article comes into question.

Copyrighted text removed[edit]

I've removed from the page history a paragraph of text about the history of the school. The text can be found in its entirety on page 7 of the current (2023-2024) school prospectus.[1] We can accept facts from sources, but we can't accept copyrighted text. The text was introduced in 2021. As it pre-dates the current prospectus I did ask myself who was copying from who. Given the peculiar formatting of the text, and the likelihood of a formal prospectus containing text copied from Wikipedia, I concluded on the balance of probabilities that this text came from an older version of the prospectus and is thus copyrighted to the school. If anyone wants to rewrite this content in their own words, or alternatively provide evidence that it has been freely licensed for use here, then they're welcome to do that. -- zzuuzz (talk) 16:10, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
