How much information about Advanced Eagle variants should be retained here, versus moving it to the F-15EX article?[edit]

I've expanded the F-15EX article so that it now captures the F-15 Advanced Eagle family as a whole, which includes the F-15SA and F-15QA that predates the EX. Is it worth keeping all of the information about the Advanced Eagle variants here, or move that over to the F-15EX article? Steve7c8 (talk) 22:32, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've transferred most of the information about the F-15SA and F-15QA over to the F-15EX page, and only make brief mentions of them here. Steve7c8 (talk) 15:31, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Tactical[edit]

I am asking this question only because I seriously don't know the answer.

Does the US currently have fighters that are non-tactical? If no, what is the point of using this word? TooManyFingers (talk) 05:13, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Tactical means attack near the battlefront (defination). All the US Air Force's fighter aircraft now are multi-role aircraft and can perform attack missions. -Fnlayson (talk) 13:21, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
