Some issues in article.[edit]

This piece contains an excessive amount of detail including unsourced and non-encyclopedic claims such as "Blog posts describing his obsession with computing have been expunged by Google." There are also a number of peacock phrases and references to others' emotional states that are inappropriate in tone, as in this section "In 2014, Mayank Prakash surprised colleagues by choosing to leave Morgan Stanley to join Department for Work and Pensions as Director General in what was credited as major hiring coup by Robert Devereux (civil servant). The British Computer Society recognised that as a landmark appointment and Morgan Stanley was sorry to see him leave." To wit "surprised," and "major coup" followed by "landmark appointment." The section on Department for Work and Pensions is overly long and detailed for this article & much of the information would be better included in the DWP article than here. Article's off to a good start about a notable subject, just needs some clean up. JamesG5 (talk) 17:51, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@JamesG5: Just look at the page history. Duck season again. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 01:42, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Restored some tags, article is still too long & detailed, especially in the DWP section which is full of information that belongs in that article, not here, and there are still far too many instances of peacock phrases like "Passionate about the cause." I'm seriously not convinced that the subject of the article is a notable person. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 00:59, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Added more tags and watchlisted it. Will return and try to improve. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 01:03, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Lemongirl942 I agree. smu95rp (talk) 08:56, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this random guy have his CV on Wikipedia?[edit]

Apart from being mentioned by Computer Weekly 6 years ago this guy is just another executive.

The content is basically his CV. smu95rp (talk) 11:10, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
