Mavis Batey nee Lever is a notable codebreaker, having contributed directly to decryption of the intelligence which resulted in the British naval at the Battle of Matapan. One of Dill's Girls at The Cottage, Bletchley Park, the intelligence decrypted by her had a major impact on war in the Med theatre. Agreed; I've changed it. Mark M (talk) 19:01, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
"In December 1941 she broke a message between Belgrade and Berlin that enabled Dilly Knox's team to work out the wiring of the Abwehr Enigma, an Enigma machine previously thought to be unbreakable."
This sentence seems wrong. Enigma was broken many years earlier. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.254.66.245 (talk) 02:34, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
