Academic and Professional information[edit]

The article reads more like a political endorsement rather than an unbiased "who is who" report on Matt Bogusz's educational and employment history. Specifically, his Academic background is lacking and -especially- his professional resume is non existent. People would like to know what did the Mayor of Des Plains study at Northwest and how he earns a living for himself and his family besides his token compensation as Mayor.

If you have a reliable source for such information, you can of course try expanding the article. --Nat Gertler (talk) 16:55, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If I had that information I would have certainly posted it. My opinion is that -somehow- these two very important aspects of Bogusz's profile are absent from the article in such a conspicuous way it creates a negative POV. Actually, this has been used in the past to criticize his candidacy as a Mayor based on the fact that i) it is not known what his Academic studies were all about, and ii) all his prior "real life" employment experience were -basically- political appointments due to his family's well known political connections especially with Illinois' Democratic Party. Actually, this very Wikipedia article indirectly but clearly states that when Matt Bogusz became the Mayor of Des Plaines he had not worked before in his life in the private or public sector in a full time, paid, position. Also, instead of stating what did he study while at Northwestern the article focuses on him meeting his wife while at school and being a Chick Evans Scholar while a member of the Associated Student Government. So my suggestion is to solicit and find more pertinent information about his Academic and Professional experience, in an effort to undo the article's slight bias against Mayor Bogusz. Thank you!
